Death toll from Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 65,502

The death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 65,502 martyrs, in addition to 167,367 wounded, the majority of whom are children and women. 

In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that 83 martyrs and 216 wounded arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals over the past 24 hours. The death toll since March 18, when the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement, has reached 12,939 martyrs and 55,335 wounded.

The ministry indicated that the number of aid victims who arrived at hospitals over the past 24 hours reached 7 martyrs and 50 injured, bringing the total number of aid victims who arrived at hospitals to 2,538 martyrs and more than 18,581 injured.

The ministry noted that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them at this time.

Eleven Palestinians were killed and several others wounded Friday as Israeli occupation forces launched airstrikes and opened fire on civilians awaiting humanitarian aid across various areas of the Gaza Strip.Al Awda Hospital confirmed the deaths of ten aid seekers near the Netzarim corridor in central Gaza, following intense shelling and gunfire by Israeli forces.Another civilian was killed and five others injured near an aid distribution center in Rafah, southern Gaza, as Israeli troops reportedly targeted the gathering.Simultaneously, local sources reported dozens of individuals missing beneath the rubble after Israeli warplanes demolished residential homes over their inhabitants in Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, during a pre-dawn raid.Additional casualties were reported in the Al Mashahra area of Al Tuffah neighborhood in northeastern Gaza, following further Israeli bombardment.The death toll from Israel’s ongoing assault on the besieged Gaza Strip has now surged to 65,427, with 167,376 injuries recorded since October 7, 2023, marking an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe. (
